Went in at lunchtime, there was... no one there? Like, we walked in and no one noticed, there were no other patrons, the wait staff was in the back. They came out eventually, and our food was great, but it was an odd experience. I'll definitely give them another shot, I'm sure it was probably just a random occurrence.... but still very odd and a little off-putting.

Skip it. A locals bar with the dregs. Consistently flat or just none on draft and what they do have is warm. And honestly the worst food. I don't know how many times I've asked for a steak cooked medium and they couldn't do it with a gun to their head. Not even close. Pathetic. Soon something else will be located here.

Great place for lunch or supper. Local favorite but more pricey than some others. Good food, friendly staff. 1/2 price burgers Wednesday and Thursday night poker night and Sunday trivia.

We had the crispy chicken salad and the captain chesapeake sandwich. Both were very good. The chicken in the grilled chicken sandwich was a little overdone and dry, it would have been better thinner as well. But was still quite tasty and the toast was wonderful.

Love this place! It is my local pub. I love all of the staff here especially Steve and Betsy. They are always so welcoming, fun to talk to, and they have very fast service. Plus blues nights on Thursdays are a ton of fun when I am able to make it out there.

A group of us from harfordcountyliving.com , headed to Havre de Grace High School because one of our young photographers was performing in the All-County Band, which of course was an excellent performance. Afterwards we all went to Coakleys Pub for lunch, and believe us, you have to eat there if you haven't yet. The food was spectacular and the service was superb. I myself got the Tuna Steak and it was the best I have ever had.

came in on Friday 2PM to have lunch and the place smelled of ammonia so bad triggered an asthma attack. Never had a chance. Will never return.

This place wasn't bad. We went on a Saturday night and besides the fact that there was no parking, we had a good time. We actually had to park across the street, sort of near Tidewater and Magerk's parking lots. We got seated in an awkward part of the restaurant though, with only about 4 or 5 tables in a small room. There was only one other table filled in there, and it was two parents and two young kids under 5. The beer came out quick and the prices are ok. They have things like Sierra Nevada listed under import bottles though, so don't go here expecting a big beer selection. I was actually pretty disappointed in their beer selection. They have mostly mass market stuff you find everywhere and their draft selection was weak. Their "seasonal" beer was just non big brews they usually don't offer. They did have Newcastle Werewolf though. I ended up getting a Dogfish Head IPA and my wife got a Smithwick's. Each beer was about 4.50 which I thought was pretty high. For food, we got the crab pretzel which was really good. The crab imperial that is topped on the pretzel had a really unique flavor, different from what I'm used to. It was very filling. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich for my entree with steak fries (not my favorite...very soggy) and my wife got the black and blue burger w/ waffle fries. Both came out quick and were cooked pretty much to order, except for my wife's burger being a little undercooked. She ordered medium well and although the outside was dark and near charred, the inside was still rather pink (I dont know if it was a frozen patty). Both sandwiches were a nice sizes. Overall, we left full and the prices weren't awful. All in all we spent $40 bucks for two sandwiches, an appetizer, and two beers. Service was also good. I think it would probably take a lot to get me to go back there though. As far as bar food, I have a few other places I prefer (like Dark Horse Saloon in Bel Air). Also, I'm sure the actual bar areas are much better... but where we were seated was just awkward.

I have gone here twice in the last week.. and had a very positive experience both visits. Had gone here several months ago and was not so impressed the first time. I sat in the bar area this last visit and had a very good waiter serve me some ice cold brews and some amazing wings! Jamaican seasoning I highly recommend. And the price was amazing .50c wings special (Monday night) They really were excellent and the celery was NOT wilted .. Good job guys you've found a regular!

Hubby and I have ate here a handful of times in the past and have come back if only for their awesome fried pickles off of the appetizer menu. All of the dinners that we've had in the past were okay but on our last visit this weekend, was absolutely horrible. Granted it was St. Patrick's Day, but our waitress-who seemed like she's been there for a loooong time, was inattentive and we had bad service. We waiting a very long time just to get our beverages and my husband was never even offered a refill on his beer-He had an empty glass within 5 minutes upon receiving our food . Within a few sips of my beverage, I discovered that my bloody mary had the plastic protective cap from the drink mix, floating around inside. I showed it to the waitress when she finally came back and she blew me off, acting like it was no big deal...she said "It won't hurt ya and after you finish it, you won't even care"...like it was a joke. I didn't find it funny and there the beverage sat-untouched for the rest of the visit. The place was understandably crowded but the problem was, we saw our waitiress just standing around socializing with guests she seemed to know, most of the time. We ordered the shepard's pie with a side house salad and the corned beef and cabbage specials. The taste was pretty good but the portions were outrageously small. I've never seen such small portions in a restaurant. Also, my shepard's pie didn't seem like it was baked together like the dish is supposed to be prepared-the mashed potatoes were just thrown on top. I will say that the house dressing was fantastic and had a wonderful, unexpected flavor-not sure exactly what it was-ginger perhaps? In fairness, perhaps this was just a fluke because of the holiday, but not getting a beer refill offered, nor receiving hearty portions of traditional Irish fare on St. Patrick's Day-at an Irish pub- seemed sacreligious. We may come back again if we're jonsing for their fried pickles ... P.s. My bloody mary was comped in the end...

Very good bar food! Crab cakes, burgers, Ruben they have it all. Reasonable price but bar atmosphere. Woulddefinately do lunch here again.

The place is a typical Irish Pub in a touristy town. I had the fish & chips - the fish was actually really terrific, but they really need steak fries with that meal - it is just want you do with fish and chips. The waiter was a nice guy and the place was pretty clean overall. The pricing wasn't too bad considering the location of it, and I will definitely eat there again. They also have great weekly deals, and supposedly have some awesome wings for their half-off wing night on Monday.

Their ribs are good, but the rest of their food is average, and they have similar beer prices to everywhere else in the area. Its really pretty nasty and not enjoyable being there. They usually have a fight there on the weekend nights between the locals. It really defines a dive bar.

Mediocre food. Slow service. Also they advertise that they have package goods but that shut down.
